The Art of Solitude

Solitude is not loneliness. It is the fertile ground from which creativity springs — a space where the noise of the world fades and something truer can emerge.

In solitude, I have found my most honest work. There is no audience to perform for, no expectations to meet. Only the raw encounter between self and medium.

Whether it is the hour before dawn in the studio, or a long walk with no destination, these moments of withdrawal have given shape to everything I have made.

This is not a romantic notion of the isolated genius. It is something more practical — the recognition that attention is finite, and that some work requires all of it.
