Most of what is called creative process is really just tolerance for uncertainty. The idea arrives clear. The execution never matches it. The work is learning to live in that gap without giving up.

I used to wait for inspiration before starting. Now I start first and let the work generate the inspiration it needs. This is not a trick — it is the actual mechanism.

The finished pieces that mean the most to me came out of sessions I almost cancelled. There is something useful in that.
